Frequently asked questions
What is JSON-LD structured data?
Machine-readable schema.org markup embedded in <script type="application/ld+json"> tags — Product, Article, FAQPage, Organization and so on. Search engines use it to power rich results like star ratings, prices and FAQ dropdowns.
Does this validate my markup for Google?
It checks that each block is syntactically valid JSON and shows you the declared types — the fastest way to see what a page actually ships. For rich-result eligibility rules, run the output through Google’s Rich Results Test as well.
What about Microdata or RDFa?
This tool reads JSON-LD only, which is the format Google recommends and most modern sites use. Microdata and RDFa attributes woven into the HTML are out of scope here.
