This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work on ScrapeSilo. It is part of our Terms of Service and applies alongside the pricing documentation.
1. Billing cycle
Paid plans are billed in advance, each month, through our payment processor. Each cycle grants a monthly pool of credits that resets at the start of the next cycle. Credits do not roll over — unused credits at the end of a cycle are forfeited. Scrapes consume credits weighted by engine, as described in the pricing table.
2. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from the billing page. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current period. You keep access to your paid plan and its remaining credits until the end of the cycle you have already paid for, after which your account moves to the free tier. To switch between paid tiers, cancel your current plan first and then subscribe to the new one.
3. Refunds
Because plans are billed in advance and credits are made available immediately, fees are generally non-refundable, and partial-period or unused-credit refunds are not provided. We may, at our discretion, issue a refund or credit in cases such as a duplicate or clearly erroneous charge, or a sustained service failure on our side. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of your jurisdiction.
4. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it and may suspend or downgrade your account until the balance is settled. Execution records created while your account was active remain queryable subject to our retention practices.
5. Price changes
We may change plan pricing on a prospective basis with reasonable notice. Changes never affect a period you have already paid for; they apply from your next renewal.
6. Requesting a refund
To ask about a charge or request a refund under this policy, email support@scrapesilo.com from the address on your account and include the relevant invoice or charge details.
